Based on TB/T 1010-2005, this standard incorporates the contents of TB/T 3169-2007, with the contents on wheel and bearing added. The following technical changes have been made with respect to TB/T 1010-2005 in addition to a number of editorial changes:

——the names of the wheelsets are modified: RD32 is changed to RD3A, RD32A to RD3A1, and RD42 to RD4A (see Table 8; Table 2 of Edition 2005);

——axle Types RD3A1, RE2B, RF2, RDAM96, PW-220 and RFQ are added (see Table 9);
