Introduction
This standard is formulated with a view to, on the premise of ensuring the safety and usability of products, enabling different types of mobile telecommunication terminal equipment to share the adapter with the same specification by specifying a unified port mode and technical requirements.
This standard defines the charging connection in a three-stage mode, i.e., power adapter, cable and mobile telecommunication terminal. Therefore, the application scope of this standard can be further expanded. For example, this standard can also be referenced for charging or power supply of portable or household small electronic equipment, so as to further reduce electronic waste, protect the environment, save resources and reduce the use cost.
Technical requirements and test method for power adapter and charging / data port of mobile telecommunication terminal equipment
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods of mobile telecommunication terminals (hereinafter referred to as "terminals"), power adapters (hereinafter referred to as "adapters"), cables and charging/data ports (hereinafter referred to as "ports") with only normal charging modes.
This standard is applicable to terminals, adapters and their connecting cables using wired power supply. It is not applicable to mobile terminals requiring special power supply and applications, such as special mobile equipment only used in enterprises and industries. This standard can also be referenced for the power supply or charging of other portable or household small electronic equipment.
Adapters referred to in this standard only include adapters that convert AC power input to DC power output.
