1 General Principle
1.0.1 This standard is formulated with a view to making the design, construction and acceptance of plastic pipeline for building drainage engineering to be of advanced technology, safety & usability and economic feasibility, and ensuring the engineering quality.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of the plastic pipelines for domestic wastewater drainage, roofing rainwater gravity drainage and air-conditioning condensate drainage in newly-built, renovated or extended industrial and civil buildings.
The plastic pipelines for building drainage specified by this standard include plastic drainage pipelines made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) or polyolefin (PO), or made of combined styrene and polyvinyl choride.
1.0.3 The design, construction and acceptance of plastic pipeline for building drainage shall also comply with the requirements in the current relevant national standards, besides this Specification.
