本标准规定了食品包装用不饱和聚酯树脂和玻璃纤维增强不饱和聚酯食品容器的卫生要求。本标准适用于以多醇、不饱和二羧酸酐、饱和二羧酸酐等为主要原料生产的聚酯，再加入苯乙烯所制得的液体不饱和聚酯树脂。也适用于该树脂加入过氧甲乙酮为引发剂、环烷酸钴为催化剂，玻璃纤维为增强材料所制成，可用于盛装肉类、蔬菜、水产、饮料、酒类等食品的玻璃钢容器。
