This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, warranty period, marking and packaging of explosion-proof fan (hereinafter referred to as "fan") for general purpose.
This standard is applicable to the fan for general purpose of conveying inflammable and explosive gas. The maximum temperature of conveying medium shall not exceed 80℃, the content of dust and other solid impurities is not greater than 100mg/m3 and the diameter is not greater than 1mm.
This standard is not applicable to the explosion-proof fan for special purpose, e.g. explosion-proof fan used on the marine or in coal mine.
