GB/T 10810.1-2025 Uncut finished spectacle lenses - Part 1: Single-vision and multifocal
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, identification and marking for single-vision and multifocal lenses, and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document is applicable to uncut finished single-vision and multifocal lenses.
2 Normative references
The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. For dated references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 26397 Ophthalmic optics - Terminology (GB/T 26397-2011, ISO 13666: 1998, MOD)
GB 45184 Optometry products - Safety technical specifications of components
3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 26397 and GB 45184 and the following apply.
3.1
verification power
lens vertex power that is specially calculated and provided by the manufacturer as a reference value for verification with a focimeter
Note 1: This is the measured vertex power value provided by the manufacturer.
Note 2: The verification power is not necessarily identical to the ordered power. For example, due to (visual) physiological effects, the light passing through the lens during measurement on a focimeter may not be consistent with the light path at the wearing position.
Note 3: If the manufacturer of an uncut or fitted lens only describes one vertex power, that vertex power shall be the ordered vertex power for verification purposes.
4 Requirements
4.1 Optical performance
4.1.1 General
If the manufacturer states a verification power, measure according to the verification power, and the tolerances shall meet those specified in GB 45184.
4.1.2 Vertex power
When measured in accordance with the method described in 5.2.1, the tolerances in vertex power in each principal meridian and the deviation in cylindrical vertex power of the lens shall comply with GB 45184.
4.1.3 Direction of the cylinder axis
When measured using the method specified in 5.2.2, the tolerance on the direction of the cylinder axis shall comply with GB 45184. This applies to multifocal lenses and to single-vision lenses with a predetermined orientation.
4.1.4 Prismatic power and prism base setting
