1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, code, ordering contents, manufacturing processes, technical requirements, specimens, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certification of seamless stainless steel pipes for fluid transport.
This document is applicable to seamless stainless steel pipes for fluid transport (hereinafter referred to as "steel pipes").

3 Terms and definitions
For the purpose of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 30062 apply.
4 Classification and code
4.1 Steel pipes shall be classified by manufacturing methods, with the codes as follows:
a) cold rolled (drawn) steel pipe, with a code of W-C;
b) hot-rolled (extruded, forged, expanded) steel pipe, with a code of W-H.
4.2 Steel pipes shall be classified according to the dimensional precision, with the codes as follows:
a) Ordinary grade, with a code of PA;
b) High grade, with a code of PC.
4.3 For the purposes of this document, the following symbols apply.
D: outside diameter (unless otherwise specified, including nominal outside diameter and/or calculated outside diameter, in mm).
Dc: calculated outside diameter (the outside diameter calculated based on the nominal inside the nominal wall thickness, in mm).
d: nominal inside diameter (in mm).
