1 Scope This Standard specifies the gas chromatography - mass spectrum combination determination method of the content of phthalate esters in food plastic packaging materials. This Standard is applicable to the determination of content of phthalate esters (16 categories, see Appendix A）in Food plastic packaging materials. The detection limit of phthalate esters compounds is 0.05 mg/kg in this Standard. 2 Principle Food plastic packaging materials shall be determined through gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer after being extracted and purified.
