1 Scope
This document specifies the general operational requirements, operational management, inspection, and improvement procedures for logistics centers.
This document is applicable to the operational activities of logistics centers.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18354 as well as the following apply to this document.

4 Operation requirements
4.1 Fulfillment
4.1.1 Customer order information should be verified, and any identified issues must be promptly communicated to the customer.
4.1.2 An operational plan for receiving, storage, inventory, loading and unloading, handling, sorting, packaging, and shipping shall be formulated based on the order information. When orders involve distribution processing or return goods handling, it is essential to confirm the availability of corresponding operational capabilities and formulate an operational plan.
4.1.3 The order fulfillment process shall be tracked and recorded in the information system, with timely responses provided to customer inquiries.
4.2 Acceptance
4.2.1 Receiving personnel shall familiarize themselves in advance with the scheduled arrival list for the day and inspect the receiving area's space and equipment (such as forklifts, pallets, etc.).
4.2.2 When the goods are received, the delivery note information such as supplier name, goods name, specifications, quantity and batch should be checked with the relevant document information such as order or delivery notice.
4.2.3 Conduct inventory acceptance, including verification of product expiration dates, damage, and discrepancies. Upon identification of any issues, timely feedback shall be provided to the customer, followed by appropriate resolution and documentation.
4.2.4 Confirmation of goods receipt must be obtained from the delivery personnel and recorded in the receiving documents. Goods receipt information shall be promptly entered into the information system.
4.3 Storage
4.3.1 Goods shall be received into storage according to the operational plan and shall be stored in designated zones and categories based on their characteristics and operational requirements. Goods entering a bonded warehouse must comply with customs supervision regulations.
4.3.2 Appropriate storage methods, temperature controls, and maintenance measures shall be implemented based on the characteristics of the goods in inventory. Regular inspections and focused examinations of key items shall be conducted to ensure theft and damage prevention. In the event of any issues, corresponding actions shall be taken and properly documented. The use of information technology equipment and systems for monitoring the status of goods is recommended.
4.3.3 Regulate the ventilation, temperature, and humidity of the storage environment, implement dust and contamination prevention measures, and conduct regular inspections and documentation.
