Test method about the influence of gaseous contaminants in reaction gas on the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells—Part 1: Gaseous contaminants in air 1 Scope This standard specifies relevant terms and definitions, requirements of test platform and instruments, preparation before testing, test method and test report for the influence of gaseous contaminants in air, e.g. SO2 and NOx, on the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells. This standard is applicable to proton exchange membrane fuel cell unit with pure hydrogen (>99.9%) as fuel and air as oxidant (hereinafter referred to as "fuel cell"). The volume fraction of gaseous contaminants in air to which the test method described in this standard is applicable is not less than 1 μL/L. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
