1 Scope This standard specifies determination of total ascorbic acid in the food in fluorometric method and colorimetric method. This standard is applicable to determination of total ascorbic acid in fruits, vegetables and derived products Detection limit of this method: 0.022μg/mL for fluorometric method and 0.1μg/mL for colorimetric method. Linear range: 5~20μg/mL for fluorometric method and 1~12μg/mL for colorimetric method.
