1 General Provisions 1.0.1 With a view to unifying basic terms and their definitions with regard to construction of electric power engineering, realizing standardization of technical terms and satisfying technical development requirements of electric power engineering, this standard is formulated. 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to electric power engineering, including fossil-fueled power generation engineering, hydro power generation engineering, wind power generation engineering and power transmission and distribution engineering. 1.0.3 Terms used in documents, drawings, and scientific and technical literatures with regard to electric power engineering shall meet the requirements of this standard.
