This specification replaces the part regarding structural sheet in GJB 2053-1994 Specification for aluminum alloy sheet for aerospace. The following main changes have been made with respect to GJB 2053-1994 (the previous edition): ——The part regarding surface sheet is deleted; ——Several alloys are added, namely 2B06, 2D12, 7B04, 2024, 5083, 5086 and 7075; ——The two statuses, i.e. T73 and T74, are added. This specification was proposed by the former Military Supporting Office of the State Economic and Trade Commission of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Standards and Metrology Quality Research Institute of China Nonferrous Metals Industry. This specification was issued on September 1994 for the first time. Codeofchina.com is in charge of this English translation. In case of any doubt about the English translation, the Chinese original shall be considered authoritative.
