Self-monitoring technology guidelines for pollution sources - Electroplating industry 1 Application scope This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring of the electroplating industry pollutant emission units and the centralized sewage treatment plants specially treated with electroplating wastewater, the development of monitoring scheme, and the basic content and requirements of the information record and report. This standard is applicable to the electroplating industry pollutant emission units and the centralized sewage treatment plants electroplating wastewater on self-monitoring of water and gas pollutants, noise and impact on the surrounding environment quality during production and operation. Self-monitoring of self-contained thermal power generating units (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of HJ 820 Self-monitoring technology guidelines for pollution sources - Thermal power generation and boiler. 2 Normative references For the purpose of this standard, the following documents or their provisions are quoted. The centralized sewage treatment plants specially treated with electroplating wastewater shall set monitoring points at the general discharge outlet of the wastewater and the discharge port of the workshops or production facilities corresponding to chromium, hexavalent chromium, total nickel, total cadmium, total silver, total lead and total mercury. 5.1.2 Monitoring indexes and frequency The monitoring indexes and minimum monitoring frequency of the wastewater discharge port of the electroplating industry pollutant emission unit shall be implemented according to Table 1.
