1 Scope
This document establishes the basic principles for labeling footwear product, and specifies the labeling contents and marking requirements for footwear product.
It is applicable to the labeling for footwear product produced or sold within the territory of People's Republic of China.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2703 and the following apply.
3.1
children's footwear
footwear products made of various materials for children under 14 years old (included), infants and babies
3.2
place of origin
final manufacturing, processing or assembly location of the product
3.3
item number
unique number used to mark different styles or batches of footwear products
4 Basic principles
4.1 All the labeling contents of a product shall be simple, accurate, scientific and easy to understand.
4.2 Product labeling shall accurately describe the product and reflect the true properties of the product.
4.3 As for the labeling on footwear, packaging (including hang tag), etc., the contents of the same element shall be consistent.
