3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Chinese cooking gas appliances
The air required for the burning of the gas is taken from indoors and the flue gas after burning is exhausted outdoors via the exhaust hood on the cooking appliances, axial fan or flue on the external wall, which are applicable to the gas appliances for Chinese cooking.
[GB/T 50680-2012, Definition 10.2.39]
3.2
Primary flue
One section of continuous flue on the body structure of the gas appliances, which may be directly connected to the flue of the external exhaust system for flue gas exhaust; and the flue gas exhaust may also be realized via the central exhaust system.
3.3
Cold state
The state that the gas appliances are ignited normally under the conditions of reference gas and rated pressure, and stop operating after the gas supply gets normal until the burner cools close to ambient temperature.
[CJ/T 392-2012, Definition 3.3]
3.4
Tail pan
The pan that is installed at the gas appliances, and utilizes residual heat of the flue gas from the main burner to cook food or provide hot water.
3.5
Effective heat load
The heat that is absorbed and utilized by the heating substance in unit time.
4 Classification and Model
4.1 Classification
4.1.1 According to types of the gas used: manufactured gas appliances (R), natural gas appliances (T) and liquefied petroleum gas appliances (Y).
4.1.2 According to air supply modes of the gas appliances: blast (G) and non-blast (F).
4.1.3 According to number of the burners of the gas appliances: one-burner gas appliances (1), two-burner gas appliances (2) and multi-burner gas appliances (n, the number of burners).
