1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, emission control requirements, emission management requirements, monitoring requirements and implementation and supervision of standards for emission of air pollutants for Xiamen.
This standard is applicable to the emission management of air pollutants of pollutant discharging unit within the jurisdiction of Xiamen, as well as the environmental impact assessment of construction projects, the design of environmental protection facilities of construction projects, the completion acceptance and the discharge management after putting into service.

For those already covered by a national or Fujian air pollutant emission standard, they shall follow this standard and its applicable scope strictly. For those covered by a new national or Fujian air pollutant emission standard after the implementation of this standard, they shall follow this standard and its applicable scope strictly.
4.2 For contents and requirements not specified in this standard, those specified in the current corresponding standards shall prevail.
