3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
quality assurance
total quality management during environmental monitoring, including all activities and measures for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of environmental monitoring data
3.2
quality control
operation technology and activities adopted to meet the quality requirements of environmental monitoring
3.3
comparison monitoring
in order to verify the accuracy of water and gas on-line automatic monitoring results, manual monitoring synchronous with on-line automatic monitoring is carried out, and the manual monitoring results are used as the basis for verifying on-line automatic monitoring data. The method specified in national standards or other current effective methods shall be adopted for manual monitoring
3.4
site-laboratory quality control
process of synchronous collection and analysis of quality control samples and actual samples according to established procedures. The quality control results may be used to judge whether the error of monitoring results is caused by site sampling or laboratory analysis
