1 Scope
This standard specifies the specification and size designation, requirements, test methods, judgment rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage for the knitted homewear.
This standard is applicable to identify the quality of knitted homewear mainly made of knitted shell fabric. Homewear includes the products mainly for wearing at home such as nightclothes and home sportswear.

3 Specification and Model
Size designation of knitted homewear shall be implemented according to the requirements of GB/T 6411 or GB/T 1335 (all parts).
4 Requirements
4.1 Requirement contents
The requirements are divided into inherent quality and appearance quality. Inherent quality includes marble bursting strength, fiber content and deviation, formaldehyde content, pH value, water-washing dimensional change ratio, distortion ratio after water washing, colour fastness to washing, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to perspiration, colour fastness to rubbing, colour fastness to washing of textile printing, colour fastness to rubbing of textile printing, pilling, peculiar smell and detachable aromatic amine dyes. Appearance quality includes surface defect, specification and size deviation, self size difference, sewing requirements and appearance quality after water washing.
4.2 Grading requirements
4.2.1 Quality grade of knitted homewear was divided into the superior quality product, first-grade product and qualified product.
4.2.2 The quality grading of knitted homewear: inherent quality shall be graded by lot (delivery lot), and appearance quality shall be graded by piece; as for combination of inherent quality and appearance quality, the knitted homewear shall be graded according to the minimum grade.
