3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition apply.
3.1
knitted woolen fabric
knitted fabrics, similar to woven woolen fabrics, made according to the procedures of knitting, fulling and felt finishing using cashmere or wool of 50% and above as raw materials
4 Standard sizing systems for products
The standard sizing systems shall meet the requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
5 Requirements
5.1 Requirement contents
The requirements are divided into three aspects, i.e. inherent quality requirements, appearance quality requirements and raw material requirements. The inherent quality requirements cover such indexes as fiber content, bursting strength, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, dimensional change rate by water washing, dimensional change rate by dry cleaning, pilling, colour fastness to dry cleaning, colour fastness to washing with soap or soap and soda, colour fastness to water, colour fastness to perspiration, colour fastness to rubbing, colour fastness to light, colour fastness to transfer in joints, seam slippage, and appearance quality after water washing (dry cleaning). Appearance quality requirements cover such indexes as surface defect, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference at symmetric parts, strip matching and plaid matching and sewing requirements. Raw material requirements cover such indexes as fabrics, lining and accessory fabrics.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 The products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and qualified products in terms of the quality grade.
5.2.2 The products are graded by batches in terms of inherent quality and by pieces in terms of appearance quality, and the lowest grade shall prevail in case of a combination of both.
5.2.3 For all inherent quality indexes, the minimum test result is regarded as the grading basis for this batch of products.
5.2.4 Where appearance quality problems of different product grades are found on the same product, the product shall be graded according to the lowest quality grade. For one product, no more than two limit surface defects of the same grade are allowed to exist; otherwise, this product shall be degraded by one grade.
