This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of steel tube scaffold couplers.
This standard is applicable to couplers made of malleable cast iron or cast steel for scaffolds, headframes, formwork supports, etc. of which the nominal outside diameter of steel tubes is 48.3mm in construction engineering, and it's also applicable to couplers used in municipal, water conservancy, chemical, metallurgical, coal and ship engineering. The steel tube scaffold couplers with nominal outside diameter of 51mm and couplers in use may also refer to this standard.
