GB 17945-2024 Fire emergency lighting and evacuate indicating system 1 Scope This document defines the terms and definitions of fire emergency lighting and evacuate indicating system, specifies the classification, requirements, inspection rules, marking and instructions for use, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and inspection of fire emergency lighting and evacuate indicating system (hereinafter referred to as "the system") used in industrial and civil buildings. 2 Normative references The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this document. Note 2: Fire emergency luminaires include fire emergency lighting luminaires, fire emergency evacuate indicating luminaires, and fire emergency lighting and evacuate indicating luminaires. 3.5 A type fire emergency luminaire luminaire powered by DC power supply with a rated working voltage of not greater than 48V Note: It is referred to as "A type luminaire" in this document. 3.6 B type fire emergency luminaire luminaire powered by AC or DC power supply with a rated working voltage of greater than 48V Note: It is referred to as "B type luminaire" in this document. 3.7 fire emergency luminaire with built-in battery luminaire whose battery power supply is powered by the built-in battery, with the rated working voltage of the battery power supply not greater than 48V 3.8 fire emergency luminaire with centralized power supply luminaire whose main power supply and battery power supply are powered by the centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires 3.9 continuous luminated fire emergency luminaire luminaire of which the light source operates in the power-saving lighting mode under normal working conditions and switches to the emergency lighting mode in case of fire or other emergencies 3.10 non-continuous luminated fire emergency luminaire luminaire of which the light source is in the off mode under normal working conditions and switches to the emergency lighting mode in case of fire or other emergencies 3.11 central controlled fire emergency luminaire luminaire whose working condition is centrally controlled and displayed by the central control panel for fire emergency luminaire 3.12 non-central controlled fire emergency luminaire luminaire whose working condition is controlled by the centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires or switch board for fire emergency lighting 3.13 fire emergency lighting luminaire luminaire that provides lighting for personnel escape and fire fighting operations in case of fire or other emergencies Note 1: It is referred to as "lighting luminaire" in this document. Note 2: Lighting luminaires whose luminous parts are portable are called evacuate flashlights. 3.14 fire emergency evacuate indicating luminaire luminaire that fulfills the following functions with graphics and/or text: a) Indicating emergency exits, evacuation exits, and refuge floors (rooms); b) Indicating the direction of evacuation; c) Indicating floors; d) Indicating prohibited entrances/exits, passages, places and dangerous goods storage places Note 1: It is referred to as "indicating luminaire" in this document. Note 2: Emergency exits refer to the entrances/exits of stairwells and outdoor staircases for safe evacuation of personnel or the exits leading to indoor/outdoor safe areas; evacuation exits refer to all exits on the evacuation paths. 3.15 fire emergency lighting and evacuate indicating luminaire luminaire that combines the functions of emergency lighting and evacuate indication Note: It is referred to as "lighting and evacuate indicating luminaire" in this document. 3.16 fire emergency evacuate indicating luminaire of multiple indication states luminaire whose indication state is changed by the central control panel for fire emergency luminaire according to the preset logic and time sequence after the emergency start-up of the system Note 1: It is referred to as "indicating luminaire of multiple indication states" in this document. Note 2: The indicating luminaires of multiple indication states includes evacuation exit indicating luminaires of multiple indication states and direction indicating luminaires of multiple indication states. 3.17 fire emergency evacuate indicating luminaire of multiple indication information luminaire that displays information of evacuation exit and floor identification simultaneously or alternately Note: It is referred to as "indicating luminaire of multiple indication information" in this document. 3.18 switch board for fire emergency lighting device used to distribute the main power supply to fire emergency luminaire with built-in battery 3.19 A type switch board for fire emergency lighting switch board for fire emergency lighting with DC output and a rated output voltage of not greater than 48V 3.20 B type switch board for fire emergency lighting switch board for fire emergency lighting with AC output, or with DC output and a rated output voltage of greater than 48V 3.21 centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires power supply for fire emergency luminaire with centralized power supply, with battery power supply or other energy storage components as the energy storage device 3.22 A type centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires of which both the main power supply and the battery power supply adopt DC output and the rated output voltage of both is not greater than 48V 3.23 B type centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires with AC output, or with DC output and a rated output voltage of greater than 48V 3.24 central control panel for fire emergency luminaire device that controls and displays the working condition of central controlled fire emergency luminaire, centralizing power supply for fire emergency luminaires, and switch board for fire emergency lighting 3.25 local type control panel for fire emergency luminaire central control panel for fire emergency luminaire that is not connected to other central control panels for fire emergency luminaires and independently controls and displays the working condition of the system equipment to which it is connected 3.26 centralized type control panel for fire emergency luminaire central control panel for fire emergency luminaire that controls and centrally displays the working condition of the section type control panel for fire emergency luminaire (3.27) and the system equipment to which it is connected 3.27 section type control panel for fire emergency luminaire central control panel for fire emergency luminaire that directly controls and displays the working condition of the system equipment to which it is connected, whose working condition and that of the system equipment to which it is connected are centrally controlled and displayed by a centralized type control panel for fire emergency luminaire (3.26) 3.28 combined type control panel for fire emergency luminaire central control panel for fire emergency luminaire having the functions of both the centralized type control panel for fire emergency luminaire (3.26) and the section type control panel for fire emergency luminaire (3.27) 4 Classification 4.1 Classification of systems Classification by the form of system: a) Central controlled fire emergency lighting system; b) Non-central controlled fire emergency lighting system. 4.2 Classification of system equipment 4.2.1 Classification of fire emergency luminaires 4.2.1.1 Classification by the rated working voltage: a) A type luminaire; b) B type luminaire. 4.2.1.2 Classification by the power supply mode of battery power supply: a) Luminaire with built-in battery; b) Luminaire with centralized power supply. 4.2.1.3 Classification by the type of applicable system: a) Central controlled luminaire; b) Non-central controlled luminaire. 4.2.1.4 Classification by the working mode: a) Continuous luminated luminaire; b) Non-continuous luminated luminaire.
