1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions, specifies the classification and designation, requirements, inspection rules and marking, and describes the corresponding test methods for fire alarm control units.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and inspection of fire alarm control units used in industrial and civil buildings (hereinafter referred to as control units).

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

disabled condition
condition of the control unit after the disabling function is activated
3.2
fire alarm signal
signal emitted by the fire alarm trigger device when the monitoring parameters of the fire alarm trigger device meet the fire alarm conditions
3.3
fire alarm condition
condition of the control unit when receiving the fire alarm signal and sending the fire alarm prompt information
3.4
fault alarm signal
signal sent when the automatic fire alarm system equipment is abnormal and cannot operate normally
3.5
fault alarm condition
condition of the control unit when receiving the fault alarm signal and sending the fault alarm prompt information
3.6
supervisory alarm signal
input signals supervised by the control unit other than those related to fire alarm, fault alarm and linkage
3.7
supervisory alarm condition
condition of the control unit when sending the supervisory alarm signal
3.8
self-test condition
condition of the control unit when performing the self-test function
3.9
monitoring condition
condition of the control unit without fire alarm, fault alarm, disabling, supervisory alarm, self-test, etc. after being powered on
3.10
operational data storage unit
unit that is used for recording the operating condition information of all fire alarm trigger devices and automatic fire protection equipment connected with the control unit for reference in fire investigation

fire electrical control equipment
unit that controls various automatic fire protection facilities such as fire water supply equipment, automatic fire extinguishing equipment, indoor fire hydrant equipment, smoke management equipment, fire doors and windows and fire-resisting shutters, and has the functions of controlling the controlled equipment to execute predetermined actions, receiving feedback signals from it and monitoring its condition, communicating information with automatic control unit for fire protection or control unit with automatic control function, and sending acoustic and optical prompt information to users

communication module with a function of communication protocol conversion that can realize information interaction between an automatic control unit for fire protection or a control unit with automatic control function and various fire electrical control equipment

communication line in the automatic fire alarm system that is used for transmitting the information between a fire alarm trigger device and a fire alarm control equipment

fire system control bus; FCbus
communication line in the automatic fire alarm system that is used for transmitting the information between an automatic control unit for fire protection or a control unit with automatic control function and an output module, input module and input/output module

fire system equipment control bus; FECbus
communication line in the automatic fire alarm system that is used for transmitting the information between an automatic control unit for fire protection or a control unit with automatic control function and the fire electrical control equipment such as gas extinguishing subsystem, fire pump monitoring subsystem, smoke management monitoring subsystem, fire emergency broadcasting and telephone subsystem, fire-resisting shutter monitoring subsystem, fire door monitoring subsystem, fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication system through the automatic control communication module
4 Classification and designation
The control units are classified as follows based on the application method:
a) independent control units (without the function of transmitting information to other control units);
b) regional control units (with the function of transmitting information to other control units);
c) centralized control units (with the function of receiving information transmitted by other control units and displaying the information in a centralized way);
d) centralized regional compatible control units (with the functions of regional control units and centralized control units).

3 Terms and definitions

4 Classification and designation
