This standard specifies the limit, test methods, sampling and inspection rules of vinyl chloride monomer, dissoluble lead, dissoluble cadmium and other volatile substances in polyvinyl chloride floor coverings (namely, polyvinyl chloride floor leather).
This standard is applicable to the foaming or non-foaming polyvinyl chloride floor coverings (hereinafter referred as floor coverings) with or without base material produced by coating, rolling and composite process with polyvinyl chloride resin as the major raw material and proper additives; it is also applicable to the composite kang leather and polyvinyl chloride vehicle floor coverings.
