Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and values of efficiency grades for motors
1 Scope
This standard specifies the values of efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and test methods of three-phase asynchronous motors, single-phase asynchronous motors and air conditioner fan motors.
This standard is applicable to continuous-duty general-purpose motors or general-purpose explosion-proof motors of single-speed enclosed fan cooling type and N design, which have a rated voltage of less than 1,000V, 50Hz three-phase AC power supply, rated power within 120W~1,000kW and pole number of 2, 4, 6 and 8. It is also applicable to motors which have a voltage up to and including 690V and 50Hz AC power supply, such as capacitor-run asynchronous motors (120W~3,700W), capacitor-run asynchronous motors (120W~2,200W) and two-value capacitor asynchronous motors (250W~3,700W) for general purpose as well as capacitor-run motors (10W~1,100W) and brushless DC motors (10W~1,100W) for air conditioner fans.

3 Term and definition
For the purposes of this document, the following term and definition apply.
3.1
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for motors
minimum standard value of allowable motor efficiency under the test conditions specified in this standard
4 Values of efficiency grades
There are three motor efficiency grades, wherein, Grade 1 represents the highest efficiency. The measured motor efficiencies of each grade under rated output power shall not be less than those specified in Tables 1~6. The measured motor efficiency tolerance of each grade under rated output power shall meet those specified in Table 21 of GB/T 755-2019, Tables 2-6 of GB/T 5171.1-2014 and the corresponding product standards. For motors of which the rated power values are not listed in the tables, their efficiencies may be determined by linear interpolation.
