1 Scope
This standard specifies safety and sanitation requirements for painting process as well as its ventilation and air clean-up.
This standard is applicable to painting process and the design, installation and application of its ventilation and air clean-up system. As for outdoor painting processes for bridges, buildings, large-scale storage tank, boat and other large construction members, their ventilation and air clean-up may also refer to this.

The whole technical process of paint coating in painting operations; it includes paint distribution, workpiece transport, various coating, drying or curing methods as well as polishing and puttying.
3.2 Location of painting operations
It refers to special site and specific surrounding space for painting operations.
