1 Scope
This standard specifies the dimensions, shape, weight, and tolerances for cold-rolled plates and sheets.
This standard is applicable to the cold-roll steel strip and its sheared steel plate (hereinafter referred to as steel plate) with rolling width no less than 600 mm, and the slit wide strip. Single cold-rolled steel plate may also be implemented by referring to this standard.

3 Terminologies and definitions
This standard adopts the following terminologies and definitions:
3.1 Wide strip
Refers to the wide steel strip delivered with coils and with the rolling width no less than 600 mm.
3.2 Sheet
Be transected from the wide strip.
3.3 Slit wide strip
Be slit from steel strip, and delivered with coils.
4 Classification and designation
4.1 Divided according to edge conditions
Cut edges EC;
Non-cut edges EM.
4.2 Divided according to the dimensional accuracy
General thickness accuracy PT.A;
Higher thickness accuracy PT.B;
General width accuracy PW.A;
Higher width accuracy PW.B;
General length accuracy PL.A;
Higher length accuracy PL.B
4.3 Divided according to plainness accuracy
General plainness accuracy PF.A;
Higher plainness accuracy PF.B
4.4 According to the shape and edge conditions of the product, the classification for the dimensional accuracy of steel plate and steel strip is specified in Table 1.
