1 Scope
This Standard specifies dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of wide and heavy plates for line pipe of petroleum and natural gas.
This Standard is applicable to longitudinal welded pipe of petroleum and natural gas produced according to Standards of API SPEC 5L, ISO 3183 and GB/T 9711, and other wide and heavy plates with thickness of 6~40 mm for longitudinal welded pipe of other fluid with the similar requirements.
