1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods, test parameters and test limits of interturn insulation of form-wound winding for AC electrical machines.
This standard is applicable to the inspection of interturn insulation of form-wound winding for small and medium AC electrical machine with rated voltage of 1140V or below.

comparison method of impulse waveforms
one test method of interturn insulation of electrical machine winding (or coil) with impulse voltage
Principle: directly apply the impulse voltage wave with specified peak and wave front time on a tested piece and reference winding (or coil) with same design alternately (or simultaneously), and then detect whether the interturn insulation of electrical machine winding (or coil) is in good condition by their damped oscillating waveform difference caused by impulse voltage
