1 Scope
This standard specifies the supplementary specifications for general-purpose ball bearing and roller bearing meeting the requirements of GB 273.1-2011, GB 273.2-2006, GB/T 273.3-2015, GB/T 299-2008 and GB/T 300-2008 as well as their parts, and is a supplement to GB/T 307.1-2005, GB/T 307.3-2005 and GB/T 307.4-2012.
This standard is applicable to rolling bearings and their parts.

5 Specifications
5.1 Ball bearing
5.1.1 Finished bearing
5.1.1.1 As for the ordinary-grade and Grade 6 radial and angular contact ball bearings, the axial runout of their inner and outer rings shall not exceed those specified in Table 1 and the measuring methods shall be in accordance with those specified in GB/T 307.2-2005. Where mandrel is used to measure the Sia at outer ring face, the values of ordinary-grade and Grade 6 bearings shall not exceed 10/6 times of values listed in Table 1 and the values of Grades 5 and 4 bearings shall not exceed 10/6 times of values listed in Table 5 and Table 7 of GB/T 307.1-2005.

5.1.1.3 The contact angle of angular contact ball bearing and its tolerance shall be in accordance with those specified in the product drawings.
5.1.1.4 Unless otherwise specified, the rivet head, shield and cage shall not protrude out of the bearing face.
5.1.1.5 If the separable ball bearing is not equipped with ring, the steel ball shall not drop out from the cage pocket.
5.1.1.6 After the shield (seal ring) or shell is pressed fit with the bearing outer ring (or inner ring), they shall be free from any looseness or relative rotation with press-fit ring.
5.1.1.7 After getting assembled, self-aligning ball bearings shall rotate flexibly, with good aligning performance, and the steel balls shall not drop out from the cage pocket.
5.1.1.8 Bearing shall rotate stably, briskly and without any blocking phenomenon. If there is any requirement for running torque, the inspection on it shall be carried out as specified by the manufacturer.
5.1.2 Parts
5.1.2.1 The working surfaces of bearing ring and rolling element shall be free from any grinding burn, decarburization and soft spot, while other surfaces shall be free from any visible processing defect and crack. Other requirements for the appearance quality of parts are as specified by the manufacturer.
5.1.2.2 After subject to riveting, the cage shall be free from the following defects:
——extrusion on steel balls in the cage pocket;
——loose riveting;
——crack;
——chiselling mark on rivet head, and overproof incompleteness of rivet head;
——obvious misalignment of two half cages, and tilted rivet head;
——pressed mark on the external surface of cage.
5.1.2.3 The steel balls with nominal diameter of 3mm~50.8mm shall be subjected to crushing test in accordance with JB/T 1255-2014. The steel balls with nominal diameter above 50.8mm shall be subjected to compression test; see Annex A.
