The requirements involve two aspects, i.e. inherent quality and appearance quality.
Inherent quality includes the indexes such as fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, peculiar smell, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, bursting strength, pilling, dimensional change rate in water washing, dimensional change rate by dry cleaning, distortion rate after water washing, color fastness to saliva, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to soaping, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to dry cleaning, color fastness to light, color fastness to light of textiles wetted with artificial perspiration, color fastness to transfer in joints, water-vapour permeability rate, tensile strength of belt, extractable heavy metals content, phthalate content, burning behavior, attached components, filler, appearance quality after water washing or dry cleaning, residual metal needle and anti-pile properties of down garments.
The appearance quality includes the indexes such as surface defect, specification and dimension deviation, dimensional difference at symmetric parts, sewing requirements and raw material.
5.2 Grading requirements
5.2.1 The products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products in terms of the quality grade.
5.2.2 Grading of quality: The products are graded by batches in terms of inherent quality and by pieces in terms of appearance quality, and the lower grade shall prevail in case of a combination of both.
5.2.3 For all inherent quality indexes, the worst inspection result is regarded as the grading basis for this batch of products.
5.2.4 For the appearance quality with different grades presented by one product, the lowest grade is conducted; no more than two limit surface defects with the same grade are allowed to present on one product, otherwise, this product shall be degraded by one grade.
5.3 Inherent quality requirements
