3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
electrochemical energy storage station; EESS
station, with the electrochemical cell as an energy storage element, capable of power storage, conversion and discharge, which consists of several different or the same type of electrochemical energy storage systems
Note: Besides the energy storage system, it also includes grid-connected facility and facilities for maintenance, overhaul, etc.
3.2
electrochemical energy storage system; ESS
a combination of equipment that employs electrochemical cells as the energy storage carrier, and achieves cyclic electrical energy storage and discharge through a power conversion system
3.3
electrochemical energy storage unit; ESU
a minimal energy storage system consisting of an electrochemical cell, a battery management system and a power conversion system, capable of storing and discharging electrical energy independently
4 Basic requirements
4.1 Before being put into operation, the energy storage station shall pass the grid-connected debugging and acceptance, its design shall meet the requirements of GB 51048, access to the grid shall meet the requirements of GB/T 36547, and the power station equipment shall meet the requirements of GB/T 36558.
4.2 For energy storage station connected to utility grid with a voltage class of 10(6)kV or above, the concerned unit shall sign a grid-connected dispatching agreement with the grid dispatching agency, and the grid-connected dispatching agreement shall meet the requirements of GB/T 31464.
