1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate as well as contract (or order form) contents of aluminium and aluminium alloys cold drawn (rolled) seamless tubes (hereinafter referred to as “tubes”) used for general industry.
This standard is applicable to the tubes with an outer diameter of not greater than 120.00mm.

3.1.1 Designation and state
Designation and state shall meet those specified in Table 1. Other designations or states required by the purchaser shall be determined through negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser, and shall be indicated in the contract (or order form).
