This standard specifies the technical requirements, test method and acceptance regulations of cast iron used for fan blower and compressor.
This standard is applicable to turbine fan, blower, compressor, expander as well as such alloy cast irons (hereafter referred to as castings simply) as the gray cast iron, spheroidal-graphite cast iron, medium-manganese wear-resistant spheroidal-graphite cast iron, corrosion-resistant high silicon cast iron and heat resistant iron being used for Roots and Jaeger blowers.
