1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of accessories of bathroom.

3 Classification and designation
3.1 Classification
3.1.1 By product use: bath towel rack, shower curtain rod, tub handle, towel rack (ring), electric towel rack, soap box, soap dispenser, toilet roll holder, makeup rack, clothes hook, mirror clip, scrubber, cup holder, electric hair dryer holder, retractable clothesline, toothbrush cup holder and commodity shelf.
3.1.2 By main materials of a product: copper alloy, stainless steel, zinc alloy, steel-aluminum alloy, plastic, etc.
3.2 Designation
The designation of the product should include main materials and uses of a product.
Example:
Products made of stainless steel and used as towel rack can be designated as: stainless steel towel rack.
3.3 Type and dimension
Type dimensions of a product are not specified and may refer to Annex A.
4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 See those specified in Table 1 for limit deviation for overall length of a product.

4.1.2 The parts and accessories required for product installation shall be complete, and the exposed surface shall be free from defects such as flash, burr, sharp corner, sink mark, warpage and weld mark.
4.1.3 Straight rod piece shall be straight and shall be free from obvious bending.
4.1.4 The product surface shall be bright and be uniform in color.
4.1.5 Coating and plating shall be free from defects such as decrustation, bubble, base exposure, fissure and burn.
4.1.6 Adhesion of coating and plating
4.1.6.1 Coating adhesion
Cross cut test shall be carried out according to 5.1.3.1 and shall meet the requirements of Grade 1.
4.1.6.2 Adhesion of metal substrate plating
After thermal shock test according to 5.1.3.2, there shall be no cracks, peeling or shedding.
4.1.6.3 Adhesion of plastic substrate plating
After test according to 5.1.3.3, there shall be no cracks, blister and looseness.
4.1.7 Surface corrosion resistance
After being subjected to the acetic acid salt spray test according to 5.1.4, the product surface shall not be inferior to the requirements for Grade 9 in appearance rating (RA) in Table 1 of GB/T 6461-2002.
4.2 Requirements for shower curtain rod
Under installation condition, after bearing 49N (5kgf) static load for (60±5)s and then being unloaded, the deformation shall not be greater than 1% of the total length of rod piece under test, and each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.3 Requirements for tub handle
Under installation condition, after bearing 1 176N (120kgf) static load for (60±5)s and then being unloaded, the deformation shall not be greater than 1% of the total length of rod piece under test, and each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.4 Requirements for towel rack and electric towel rack
Under installation condition, after bearing 39.2N (4kgf) static load for (60±5)s and then being unloaded, the deformation shall not be greater than 1% of the total length of rod piece under test, and each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.5 Requirements for bath towel rack
4.5.1 Under installation condition, after bearing 49N (5kgf) static load for (60±5)s at the position of bath towel and then being unloaded, the deformation of stressed components shall not be greater than 1% of the total length of rod piece under test, and each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.5.2 Parts with towel rod shall meet the requirements of towel rack.
4.6 Requirements for towel ring
4.6.1 Under installation condition, after bearing 39.2N (4kgf) static load for (60±5)s and then being unloaded, the towel ring shall be free from shedding, and each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.6.2 Movable components shall be free from blocking.
4.7 Requirements for soap box
4.7.1 Under installation condition, after bearing 29.4N (3kgf) static load for (60±5)s and then being loaded, each assembly shall not loose and shall be used normally.
4.7.2 Water isolation support or leakage hole (groove) for separating water shall be provided at the bottom of inner chamber for soap box.
4.8 Requirements for toilet roll holder
4.8.1 Relevant components for carrying toilet paper shall be firm and convenient for disassembling/assembling.
4.8.2 After installation of the whole volume of toilet paper, the toilet roll holder shall rotate without blocking. When tearing toilet paper, the whole volume of toilet paper shall not drop off.
4.9 Requirements for clothes hook
4.9.1 After bearing 49N (5kgf) static load for (60±5)s for single clothes hook, pendant shall not drop off. Each assembly shall not loose, and shall be used normally.
4.9.2 After bearing 49N (5kgf) static load for (60±5)s for single-hook in multiple clothes hook, clothes hook shall not rotate, assembly shall not loose, and pendant shall be free from shedding.
4.10 Requirements for mirror clip
After bearing 19.6N (2kgf) static load for (60±5)s, mirror shall not drop off.
4.11 Requirements for scrubber
4.11.1 After bearing 6N·m torque at constant speed, scrubber rod shall be free from fracture.
4.11.2 Brush of scrubber shall be flat and smooth, and shall be free from any shedding. After imposing a tension of 10N on a bunch of brushing, it shall not shed.

3.1 Classification
