1 Scope
This standard specifies the test principle, apparatus, test method, expression of result and test report for the plastic buckle durability.
It is applicable to the test of plastic buckles for case, bag and clothing.
2 Principle
Simulate the use of sample and reciprocally open and close the buckle for a predetermined number of times at a certain frequency, then check the quality of the plastic buckle.
3 Apparatus
3.1 Plastic buckle durability tester
It shall include the components specified in 3.1.1~3.1.3.
3.1.1 Test device (see Figure 1 for the schematic diagram), which is composed of left and right sample holders, wherein the left sample holder is used to fix the upper part of the buckle and can periodically press the blocking part of the buckle (left or right blocking position or upper blocking position); the right sample holder is used to fix the lower part of the buckle and allows the lower part to reciprocate and withdraw. The left and right sample holders cooperate with each other to make the upper and lower parts of the buckle perform horizontal reciprocating opening and closing movement, and the movement frequency is adjustable.
