This standard specifies the technical specifications for delivery of bends made of seamless carbon steel and low alloy steel pipes and welded steel pipes by induction bending process used in the oil and gas pipeline transmission system.
This standard specifies the three grades of induction heating steel bends in Table 1 according to GB/T 9711 series of standards; their mother pipes meet the fundamental quality requirements for technical specifications of steel pipe delivery in GB/T 9711 and other additional quality requirements.
The mother pipes shall not only meet other steel pipe standards than GB/T 9711 but also must ensure the equal bearing capacity, with quality requirements and classification method by agreement.
