1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and designation expression methods, dimension, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate for hot rolled steel sheet and strip with resistance to fatigue for automobile wheel.
This standard is applicable to hot rolled steel strips and its sheared sheet (hereinafter referred to as steel sheet and strip) 1.6mm~25.4mm in thickness used for manufacturing automobile wheel spokes and rims with good resistance to fatigue.

3 Classification and designation expression methods
3.1 Classification
3.1.1 By edge state:
a) Trimmed: EC;
b) Untrimmed: EM.
3.1.2 By thickness precision:
a) Ordinary precision: PT.A;
b) Higher precision: PT.B.
3.1.3 By surface treatment method:
a) Pickled surface;
b) Rolled surface.
3.1.4 By surface quality grade:
a) Ordinary grade surface: FA;
b) Superior grade surface: FB.
3.2 Designation expression methods
Designation of steel is composed of two parts: the lower limit value of tensile strength and the first letters of Chinese phonetic alphabet of "Lun Fu” (wheel spoke) or “Lun Wang” (wheel rim).
Example: 330LF or 330LW
330——the specified lower limit value of tensile strength, MPa;
LF——the first letters of Chinese phonetic alphabet of wheel spoke;
LW——the first letters of Chinese phonetic alphabet of wheel rim.
4 Order information
4.1 Contracts or orders made based on this standard shall cover the following items:
a) Standard No.;
b) Product name;
c) Designation;
d) Delivery weight (or quantity);
e) Dimension and thickness precision;

4.2 If the items in 4.1 are not specified, the following requirements shall apply:
4.2.1 If surface treatment method is not specified, the products shall be delivered with rolled surface.
4.2.2 For the hot rolled steel sheets and strips delivered with rolled surface, if the thickness precision is not indicated, the products are delivered with average thickness precision; if the edge state is not indicated, the steel strips are delivered in untrimmed state and the steel sheets are delivered with trimmed state.
4.2.3 For hot rolled steel sheets and strips delivered with pickled surface, if the thickness precision, edge state, surface quality grade and oiled state are not indicated, the products shall be delivered with higher thickness precision, trimmed state, ordinary surface quality grade and oiled state.
5 Dimension, shape and weight
The dimension, shape, weight and tolerance of steels sheets and strips shall meet the requirements of GB/T 709. Steel sheets and strips with other dimensions, shapes, weights and tolerances may also be supplied upon negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
