This part replaces GB/T 22199-2008 Sealed Lead-acid Battery Used for Moped; in addition to a number of editorial changes, the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 22199-2008: ——the standard name is revised as Valve-regulated Lead-acid Batteries for Moped - Part 1: Technical Conditions (see the cover; cover of 2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "product classification" are deleted (see Chapter 4 in 2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "energy density” are added (see 4.7); ——technical requirements for "boost charge capacity” are added (see 4.9); ——technical requirements for "reliability of life” are added (see 4.10); ——technical requirements for "flame retardant” are added (see 4.16); ——technical requirements for "constant power discharge capacity" are added (see 4.17); ——Annex A is added; ——technical requirements for "capacity at low temperature" are revised (see 4.8; 5.10 in 2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "charge acceptance" are deleted (see 5.8 in 2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "overdischarge” are deleted (see 5.9 in2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "sealing reaction efficiency" are deleted (see 5.12 in 2008 edition); ——technical requirements for "combination consistency" are deleted (see 5.16 in 2008 edition). This part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Lead-acid Batteries of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 69). The previous edition of standard replaced by this part is as follows: ——GB/T 22199-2008. Valve-regulated Lead-acid Batteries for Moped - Part 1: Technical Conditions 1 Scope This part of GB/T 22199 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and operating requirements of valve-regulated lead-acid batteries for moped. This part is applicable to valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and battery packs with a capacity of 28 Ah or less for electric automatic vehicles, electric scooters, electric balance vehicles, electric wheelchairs, etc., which use batteries as the main power source. The sulfuric acid electrolyte in the battery is non-liquid, adsorbed in the microporous structure between the electrodes or in the form of a colloid. This part does not apply to lead-acid batteries and battery packs for other purposes such as starting, electric road vehicles and traction. 2 Normative References The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document.
