1 Scope
This standard specifies the trimmed sizes for shirts and blouses.
This standard is applicable to shirts and blouses for adults which are mass produced with main shell fabric of textiles.

3 Specification Setting
3.1 The trimmed size series shall be set by adding different ease allowances to the values of control parts for each size designation serie as stated in GB/T 1335.1 and GB/T 1335.2
3.2 A group of specifications shall be set for each part of the shirts and blouses and it is allowable to select from the size group for the same size designation.
4 Specifications for Shirts
4.1 Size designation series
Upper wear of 5·4 serie shall be based on the size designations of 170/88Y, 170/88A, 170/92B and 170/96C. The chest girth shall be classified by a span of 4 cm, the collar size by 1 cm, the shoulder across by 1.2 cm, the coat length by 2 cm, the long sleeve length by 1.5 cm, and the short sleeve length by 1 cm.
