This standard replaces GB/T 3327-1997 Furniture - Main sizes of cabinets, and the following technical changes have been made with respect to GB/T 3327-1997:
——The code of the size is modified (see clause 2; clause 2 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for distance from the ground is deleted (3.2 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for the drawer depth is deleted (3.2.3 of 1997 edition);
——The schematic diagram for the drawer size is modified (3.2.3 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for the schematic diagram for the sizes of bedside cabinets is modified (see 3.2; 3.3 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for the clear height between layers of book cabinet is modified (see 3.3; 3.4 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for size range is deleted (see 3.4 and 3.5 of 1997 edition);
——The requirement for the sizes of low cabinets is deleted (see 3.6 of 1997 edition).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the code and main sizes of storage units.
This standard applies to the design and production of wardrobe, bedside cabinet, book cabinet and filing cabinet, and it may also be referred to for other storage units.
