1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of cast steel flanged seawater stop check valves (hereinafter referred to as stop check valves) with flange connection dimension in accordance with those specified in GB 569 and GB 2501.
This standard is applicable to the marine pipeline system with fresh water and seawater as the medium.

3 Product Classification
3.1 Type
The types of stop check valves are specified as follows:
Type A - through-type stop check valve with flange connection dimension in accordance with GB 569
Type AS - through-type stop check valve with flange connection dimension in accordance with GB 2501
Type B - perpendicular-type stop check valve with flange connection dimension in accordance with GB 569.
Type BS - perpendicular-type stop check valve with flange connection dimension in accordance with GB 2501
3.2 Basic parameters
The basic parameters of stop check valve are according to Table 1.
