1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, size designation, requirements, test methods, sampling rules, judgment rules, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of knitted homewear.
This document is applicable to knitted homewear mainly made of knitted fabrics.
This standard is not applicable to the garment and adornment for infants and young children at the age of 36 months or below.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
homewear
garments suitable for home wear, including pajamas, home casual wear, etc.
4 Size designation
The size designation of knitted homewear shall be subject to those specified in GB/T 6411 or GB/T 1335 (all parts), and the size designation beyond the standard range may be increased or decreased in sequence according to the grading principles specified in the standard.
5 Requirements
5.1 Grading requirements
5.1.1 Based on the quality, knitted homewear can be classified into high-grade products, first-grade products and qualified products.
5.1.2 The inherent quality is graded by batches while the appearance quality is graded by pieces. While both inherent quality and appearance quality are graded in combination, the lowest grade shall be taken.
5.1.3 The inherent quality index with the worst test result is used as a quality criterion for this batch of products.
