1 Application Scope This standard specifies the limits and measurement methods for emissions of exhaust pollutants from two-wheeled or three-wheeled mopeds on running mode, requirements for emission of pollutants from crankcase and durability requirements of pollution control device. This standard specifies the requirements of type approval, production conformity inspection and judgment method for two-wheeled and three-wheeled mopeds at Stage III. This standard is applicable to two-wheeled or three-wheeled mopeds which are equipped with spark-ignition engine and with the complete vehicle kerb mass not greater than 400kg, the engine displacement not greater than 50mL and the maximum design speed not greater than 50km/h. 2 Normative References The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this standard, constitute provisions of this standard.
