Electro-magnetic emergency shut-off valve for gas
1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of electro-magnetic emergency shut-off valve for gas, specifies their classification and models, materials and structures, requirements; describes corresponding test methods, and clarifies the requirements for inspection rules, marking and instructions for use, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document is applicable to electro-magnetic emergency shut-off valve for gas (hereinafter referred to as "shut-off valve") installed on gas user pipelines whose maximum working pressure is not greater than 0.4 MPa and nominal size is not greater than DN300, and the transportation medium is natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (including liquefied petroleum gas mixed air) and artificial gas.
