The standard specifies safety requirements in material, design, manufacturing, inspection, test and safety accessories of stationary boiler pressure parts and related load-bearing non- pressure parts.
The standard is applicable to following boiler body and pipeline in boiler;
a) Steam boiler which rated pressure is larger than atmospheric pressure
b) Hot water boiler which rating thermal capacity is not less than 0.1 MW and the rated pressure is not less than 0.1 MPa
For steam boiler, the rated pressure is rating steam pressure, and for hot water boiler, the rated pressure is rating water-out pressure.
Stationary boilers specified in the standard include fuels burnt thermal boiler and radiant heat gas flue exhaust-heat boiler.
Load-bearing non-pressure parts related with pressure parts include load-bearing parts for hanging and supporting pressure parts, and load-bearing parts welded on pressure parts.
