1 Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for plug-in (including extended-range) hybrid electric passenger cars.
This document is applicable to M1 hybrid electric vehicles with external charging and pure electric drive function.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 19596, GB 18352.6-2016 and the following apply.

plug-in hybrid electric passenger car
electric passenger car with plug-in charging function, which can run for certain mileage driven only by electricity
3.2
range extender
special device installed on the vehicle to increase the driving range of an electric vehicle
Note: The range extender in this document refers to the internal combustion engine generating set.
3.3
pure electric driving
vehicle is driven by the power supply motor, powered by the rechargeable electrical energy storage system (REESS), and the engine or range extender does not work
