Hot-rolled spring steel plates, sheets and strips
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and designation, order contents, dimensions, shape and weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking and quality certificate of hot-rolled spring steel plates, sheets and strips.
This document is applicable to hot-rolled spring steel plates, sheets and strips with nominal thickness not greater than 15 mm (hereinafter referred to as steel plates, sheets and strips).

a) Trimming, designation: EC;
b) No trimming, designation: EM.
4.2 According to the thickness accuracy, continuous rolled steel plates, sheets and strips are classified as follows:
a) Ordinary thickness accuracy, designation: PT.A;
b) Higher thickness accuracy, designation: PT.B.
4.3 According to the surface treatment method, steel plates, sheets and strips are classified as follows:
a) Rolled surface, designation: SR;
b) Acid-pickled surface, designation: SA.
