1 Scope
This standard specifies the size, shape, weight and permissible variation, specification, test methods, test rules, packing, marks, and quality certificate of wire rod for electrode.
This standard is applicable to the wire rod for electrode used for manual electric arc welding, submerged arc welding, electroslag welding, autogenous welding and shielded arc welding.
This standard is not applicable to the Wire Rod for stainless steel electrode.
