1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination method of such pesticide residues as dichlorvos, acephate, demeton-methyl, phorate, monocrotophos, dimethoate, parathion-methyl, malathion, chlorpyrifos, pirimiphos-methyl, fenthion, malathion, parathion, methidathion, phenamiphos, ethion, MTMC, isoprocarb, BPMC and carbaryl, etc. in grains and vegetables.
This standard is applicable to the residue analysis of grains and vegetables that have used organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides like dichlorvos.
2 Principle
The organophosphorus and carbamate pesticides in the specimen are extracted with organic solvent and the interfering substances are removed through liquid-liquid distribution and micro-column purification; then they are tested with nitrogen phosphorous detector (FTD) and qualitatively analyzed as per the retention time of chromatographic peak and quantified by external standard.
